(Gordon/Dean, Alastair/Dean, Sam/Dean, 3.4k,
nc-17)
Couple of weeks ago, during the course of a
weekend spent watching SPN and the Jensen-highlights of Dark Angel, bertee and
I agreed that we enjoyed Dean being manhandled to the extent that he should be
being manhandled by someone whenever he is on screen.
To combat the sad fact that the show
runners probably won't go in this direction, we have both written 'five times
Dean was manhandled' fic. I'm afraid my writerly mojo is a bit borked
currently, but here is my offering. bertee will be posting hers at some point –
I'm not exactly saying you should all go camp out on her journal, but I would
certainly not judge if you did.
This is not beta'd, or ameripicked, and is
purely to indulge in the kink of manhandled!Dean so please do not be expecting
stunning literary insights.
「RoboSam」
Dean isn't a small guy, Sam's just bigger.
Bigger and taller and stronger, and none of that is a problem when Sam's his
usual awkward and overgrown self, because what Dean lacks in size and power he
makes up for in sheer badassery, and Sam respects that. But without a soul, Sam
just doesn't understand how that greater weight and strength should operate in
relation to Dean, how it relates to their relationship.
That, in Dean's opinion, is RoboSam's whole problem: he just doesn't get their dynamic.
As such, when he sees a poltergeist-propelled piece of debris coming loose overhead and falling straight at Dean, Sam doesn't shout a warning or push him out of its path or anything like that. No. He just puts his arm around Dean's waist, lifts him smoothly off his feet and sets him down in a new, less dangerous spot.
It's not only the sensation of having his ribcage jerked up around his shoulders that keeps Dean from reacting immediately; there's a lot of stunned indignation to deal with too.
Eyeing the point of impact curiously, Sam nudges Dean a few inches further out of the way. "This place is a deathtrap, man. How the hell are we supposed to find the bones when pieces of house keep falling on our heads?"
"Don't," Dean manages at last. "Don't you. Just." He points a finger in Sam's direction, who regards it with the same placid interest with which he reacts to everything that's a part of finer feelings these days. "Don't ever, ever do that to me again."
Sam's brow creases. "Do what?"
Dean doesn't even like having to clarify. Saying the words makes it all a little harder to forget what just happened. He squeezes his eyes shut as he says it. "Pick me up like that. Don't do it. It's just… not cool."
"It was gonna fall on you. And we don't have time for you to be concussed. This is a two-man job."
"So you open your big flappy mouth and warn me next time."
"Warn you that I'm gonna pick you up?" Sam asks, frowning even harder.
Dean's patience is fast evaporating and it sounds it in his voice. "No. Warn me that there's a Wicked Witch of the East burial coming my way."
Sam shrugs. He looks back upwards, through the punched hole in the ceiling, to where the upper levels of the house shift and creak. "Easier just to move you someplace else."
"It really isn't," says Dean. He straightens himself up like he's getting ready to throw a punch, rolls his shoulders as though it might fool Sam into thinking he's bigger than he is. "You want me to prove it?"
Sam sighs a long-suffering sigh, looks upwards and points without a word. Dean follows the direction of his finger – and takes a piece of falling timber to the shoulder.
He grunts, staggers, and goes down on his knees. Sam looms over him, taller than angels, a dusty halo of light around his head where the daylight pours through the demolition.
"You need a little help?" Sam says.
Dean clutches blindly at his hand, and he's making a good attempt at getting back on his feet – particularly impressive considering half his body is still ringing with pain – when Sam sighs again, sweeps Dean's legs out from under him, picks him up and starts walking.
"Easier this way," he says simply.
And though he might be right, and though it means crawling out of the danger zone on all fours, Dean still punches him hard enough in the neck to get him to drop him.
He may not have the muscles, but he has his badassery.
